DIY Cleaning Products
I'm curious to know if any of y'all have attempted to make your own cleaning products, or know someone who has. Laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, all-purpose cleaners; I'd like to know what you've tried, what has worked, and what hasn't worked. Please share your experiences!
I made our laundry detergent for almost a year. I used a couple different recipes including both a liquid and powder. Our clothes didn't have that awesome smell that store detergents offer, but it neutralized odors well. I experimented with scented oils and it gave our clothes a fresh scent, but I'm sure it wasnt good fur them! Once I started couponing I stopped making our own detergent, but there was something satisfying about making it : )
